Volunteer Roll Call!

Picture
Florence Food Share is in need of volunteers! It's that time of year again when our snow birds fly to their southern homes. In addition, Food Share has recently lost a few volunteers that have moved permanently out of the area. Also, we have other regular volunteers that are temporarily dealing with their own personal matters so are taking a leave of absence from their volunteer work. All of this has put an additional strain on our dedicated volunteer base that is still with us. If you are curious about the volunteer opportunities available here at the pantry, please give our volunteer coordinator, Sarah Lovejoy, a call at 541-997-9110, any time Monday-Friday 8:30-1pm. Also, I'd like to request that when you are out in the community at your varoius groups and committees, if you could please share our need for additional help. Thanks in advance to this community who has always stepped up to the call for volunteers at all of the non-profits in town.
